Although the village is small, it has a combined shop & post-office, which sells a wide range of goods. The shop also has the nearest ATM cashpoint. In high season, the shop is open between 8am and 6pm.

If self-catering seems all-too-much (or you fancy a drink), there are two pubs in the village which serve evening meals: the Rod and Reel (serves until about 8.30pm), and the Ben More (serves until 9pm). There is also a tea-room on the station platform which serves breakfast from 7.30am onwards.

The nearest petrol station is 5 miles north of Crianlarich at the Green Welly stop in Tyndrum, and this is also the site of the nearest shop for outdoor gear.
